Snit had a couple of hiccups but he did fine. Base running mistakes and great defense against us did us in.

    Sign Bauer again.
Dont see us signing Bauer. Need a deeper lineup, tbh, gotta get some better bats.

It's far more than just tonight though. Each passing year MLB has just confirmed what I've already thought. Other sports leagues too.

I was already so done I didn't even watch last night. Tonight just cemented things.

I'm not even upset. I'm actually totally calm. The last out garnered nothing more than a wry smile from me. The sport is broken and they'll get no more of my time or money.
At a minimum there needs to some sort of salary cap to limit large market teams such as the Dodgers, Cubs, Yanks, or Sox. Their rebuilds don’t last nearly as long as mid to low market teams because they can throw a stack at whomever they want to speed it up.

I feel you’re pain because the Dodgers can sign Betts this year and turn around and sign Seager and Bellinger to the same contracts and we can’t.

Sure he wasnt perfect, neither was Roberts but Snit didnt cost us the series. Seemed like Dodgers knew everything we were throwing. They lay off breaking pitches and hammer/hit mistakes, while everything we hit was right at someone.

Most of the Dodgers team is homegrown. Only Trienen, Pollock, Betts are outside players they've brought in, i guess you can say Justin Turner but they developed him. They do have a large payroll so they can keep their club intact though.

Going to be hard with a likely payroll decrease but we'll see what happens. IMO we need a platoon partner for Duvall and a 3B. And of course a DH if it's brought back. Hopefully they make a decision on that fairly quickly.

You gotta be proud of these guys. They shouldn't have made this game. It is a bummer the way it played out but no worse than the 1997 Game 7 loss to the Marlins in the Gregg game.

Hell no...They are better. We developed a few guys but brought complimentary pieces....made big moves when needed to beef up at a certain position. Dodgers scout, draft, and develop better than today than any organization has ever.

Everyone they call up, turns out to be a star. They have more talent coming on the way, their pipeline of talent is just insane. The 1st and 4th inning hurt bad, 1st-2nd no outs, and 2nd-3rd no outs, no runs. No bueno.

We developed more than just a few guys.

Money is going to be tight but there might be a good market to spend it. A lot of teams are going to be nervous and some might feel pressured to shed payroll. A lot will depend on how everyone thinks next year will play out. There will probably be fans but there is no certainty. A lot of fans may still be skiddish even if stadiums are open. Normally we could cash in on our success but I don’t know. Our TV contract could hurt even more.

    **** the Dodgers.

I’m almost as all-in for the Rays as I was (and ever am) for the Braves.

We all knew this was the outcome when they blew game-five. Two close, utterly-soul-crushing losses to clinch an exit.

I just wish the universe would’ve proven our guts wrong for once.

Still stewing. This one got me good. Going to have to not watch any sports for a while.

You’re all great—even the ones of you who sometimes aren’t.

The pieces will take some time to pick up.
