The president of the united states tried to have the legislative branch killed during the certification of the electoral votes

I live in Georgia , have family members that worked very very hard with lots and lots of others locally to change the POTUS and both Senators.
So yes, when organized and mobilized grassroots has legs.
The 2020 grassroots campaign's foundation was the previous 2 cycles.

As Ms Abrams says, " there are no red states, only voter suppressed states"
When that is faced head on , and the get out the vote is strong --- we will be witnessing its fruits the next 2 years --- at least
Georgia had it's highest turn out ever
Y'all MAGA knew that , right ?

Abrams is perhaps the most centralized voter mobilizer of our time.
Plus she had the most hated man in America and a literal Nazi to motivate people to vote against.

I think grassroots implies more decentralized leadership with the leaders coming from the bottom. Abrams organization is a highly centralized machine with leadership from the top. It's what politics is today. It's using any means necessary to maneuver the people into doing what you want.
oh, grass roots is only a string un organized coffee klatches where each redundantly works against each other all in the name of meaning well.
please
you have to be more insightful of that

No, but I also don't consider a veteran politician running an extremely well funded and highly centralized effort to leverage people to vote to be "grassroots" either.
By your definition of grassroots, Trump's campaign people orchestrating the rally in DC that preceded the riot would be "grassroots" as it appealed to the masses of his following.
My definition of grassroots is bottom up and not top down. All politics these days are top down.

The way you feel about Stacey Abrams, Raphael Warnock, and the Black Lives Matter
movement is probably how you would have felt about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr,
were you alive in his time.

What does it say about America that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr
was less popular when he was murdered than Donald Trump is today?

The implication that ones feelings about Abrams, Warnock, or BLM would be the same as ones feelings toward MLK during his life carries the implication that Abrams, Warnock, and BLM are no less worthy of criticism than MLK. That's putting them all on the same level which I think is silly.
For instance, I strongly condemn how many of the BLM protests turned into riots. MLK, on the other hand, embraced non-violent protest which I find incredibly admirable and also important to effectively advocating for change.
Basically, I think there are valid criticisms of Abrams, Warnock, and BLM that would not be valid criticisms of MLK.

realize the difference between 2021 MLK and 1968 MLK
then you will see how out of touch your statement
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
I would argue that Warnock, Abrams and BLM would in 2021 out poll MLK circa 1968

MLK was assasinated in a motel that would have been included in The Green Book.
Think about it

I think the Boondocks nailed what MLK would say today
