    What has changed?

Biden said yesterday..."Today I'm making it clear. To protect our democracy, I support changing the Senate rules whichever way they need to be changed to prevent a minority of senators from blocking action on voting rights," Biden said.

Do y'all really think this is about "democracy"

Dems used the filibuster over 300 times... in 2020!

Was that an attack on democracy?

They seem to think they have this massive national mandate to rule with their insane agenda.... they literally won 50 seats thanks to a catastrophic meltdown by the former president

I know only met is capable of arguing actual points... but are any of "liberals" on this board actually supporting this?

The jig is up in November.

America will see how absurd the 2020 results are when we wipe the floor with the communists.

Economically I don’t think it’s been better. I do, however, think that the downturn has been more based around a global change in both supply and demand for goods and an increase in the cost of labor. Do I think it’s possible that Trump would have impacted the economy a bit with fewer COVID restrictions? Sure, but I think it would be muted compared to what others claim it would do. Most of the labor shortages in a lot of domestic industries are due to a lack of employees wanting to do the jobs, which are behaviors I doubt Trump could impact. Combine that with the fact that the US doesn’t control COVID protocols in foreign nations that product our goods, and I think most of the underlying issues would remain even if we ignored it outright here.

Has life in America gotten better under Biden?

More people have died of covid. Many people have been forced to take a drug they didn't want to. Many who didn't have been fired. The mandates are illegal as courts continue to strike them down... but small business are getting decimated still. Meanwhile, crime in major cities hit records last year. Inflation his 50 year highs.

What is going well? What has been better because Joe Biden is President?

    Its telegraphed.

THey want to be the only ones in the room when the votes are counted. THe biggest outrage is that there are now thousands of patriots across the country who have volunteered their time to make sure there are no shenanigans this time arounds. Its one of the big reasons we won in VA so bigly!

Wow. Pretty clear that a lot of people bought into the "moderate" label bestowed on Biden by our media. His mandate was don't be Trump.

Now I need to try to find Trump's Quinnipiac approval numbers.

It's as low as Trump's lowest, which was after the Capitol riot.

Trump reached 29 or 30 on Gallup IIRC.

These numbers are also with effectively a compliant press and no establishment deep state hoaxes.

    Miraculous.

Just shows how much the America people hate progressive policies.

Those numbers are artificially low because of weighting and the well documented shy trump voter.

He's even lost the women with college degrees, which is only slightly higher than Goldy level intellect.

    That's real bad

Indie voters are the most important. They are a proxy of the American people.

The landslide that was in 2020 will not be denied in 22/24 now that we are watching the count.

I got back to this question. There are several sheep who are certain to vote for him again if he's still alive in 2024... But I cannot fathom why

    2021 was definitively a downgrade

When it comes to COVID, we’re basically at an agree to disagree point. I accept that the vaccine hasn’t done what we expected it to, but still see some benefits for it. I don’t agree that letting it run its course for the past year was the path forward, and ultimately don’t feel qualified to offer an alternative.

For everything else, I don’t think there’s much in my day-to-day life that’s gotten better, but also haven’t had much that’s gotten worse. Inflation is an issue, but I still think it’s reasonable to state that the forces that are driving it are not something directly attributable to the Biden Administration. Ultimately the issue I have is that I don’t see a better path than voting for whichever flavor of the week the Democrats put out there. I still strongly favor the social views of the Left to the Right, and still think they’re more likely to support some of the primary positions I do, even if I acknowledge that it’s not particularly likely to result in the outcome I’d want. I think until we gain traction on a true 3+ party system and put pressure on elected officials to respond to the will of the voters that this will remain the case. Voting Republican because I think Biden is useless presently means resigning myself to accept outcomes I don’t feel like accepting. If that makes me a sheep, so be it. I don’t want it to all be this way, but it just is.
