I remember that day we were all thinking that Archer was coming to Atlanta....in fact, most of us were positive that was the case. Then we saw the Pirates gave them the world....Gausman for what we gave up is still lightyears better than the Archer deal at the time.

Well Liberty Media recently reported earnings and they did give a breakdown although didn't quite get into specifics. Here's what they said about the Battery.

Well it's a bit more complicated than that. Don't forget the Braves have a ton of debt associated with the Battery. I'm not sure how it works or where they pay down the debt from, but yea on the surface that news is not as bad as it seems. The real issue is the losses from ticket sales this year.
