Going through the cited incidents, it’s hard to come to another conclusion. Do you think Kyle Rittenhouse was there to protest the Kenosha police department?

As you might have forgotten, I don’t think J6 was terrorism. Dylan Roof and the Pittsburgh synagogue shooters were domestic terrorists, though. Did the FBI incite them?

No - He was there to protect against the violent BLM mobs which if they weren't cheered on those lives would have been spared.

Your inherent desire to be an apologist for all things left wing reeks of your own political ideology.

What we saw in the summer of 2020 was a violent insurrection.

A friendly reminder that the attorney general classified protesting parents at school board meeting as terrorists

There were a lot more than 11 people killed during the 2020 riots... I've seen upwards of 40 people. Hell, the Seattle summer of love had 3 when that insurrection took over 6 blocks of the city. Weird how the left just whistled past that... an actual, anti-democracy, takeover of a ****ing city... in which 3 people were killed and two were raped. And the mayor cheered it on as a "summer of love"

You’re the ones claiming BLM supporters killed a bunch of people unlike the J6 supporters, not me. You can’t take the actions of counterprotestors and attribute them directly to BLM supporters to paint them as killers.

    Rittenhouse didn't murder anyone.

He was being violently attacked and defended himself.

Killed a child rapist in the process.

You're the one trying to discount the violent nature of the BLM riots which resulted in the death of innocent people unlike J6 which was a FBI setup where Trump supporters were actually the victims of police brutality.

If you ask the other pea in the pod

Apparently he was there hunting pedophiles

It never came up in his court case but he keeps talking about that as the reason he was there bringing vigilante justice to the worst of society

I’m happy to read any contrary evidence that shows murders committed by the BLM protestors.

Nope, I didn’t say he murdered anyone. I said that you can’t call BLM protestors killers and attribute those two deaths to them.

Nope, just contesting this weird argument that BLM protestors did much killing.

Here are a few different sources. These are all dated in time and thus the figures drastically... but from my readings it's clear that 20+ were killed... and I've seen as many as 40+

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...l-unrest-acled

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/jemimam...h=2c9def7e4de4

    https://www.fox6now.com/news/deadly-...ests-across-us

And these don't include the Seattle CHOP zone death and other similar incidents that were spurned by just a lack of police enformencet during all the unrest.

And I know you are quick to dismiss the "property damage"... but many of those small businesses have never reopened. A tragedy all around... Cheered on and supported by the left.

But we have daily tears about Jan 6 as if it compared at all in damage

Your first article is the same as mine. 14 of those 25 weren’t attributed to protests. In the second link, you can squint and say that closer to 10 could be directly attributed to protestors, but even that is unclear. You continue to have a good point about property damage, but let’s not pretend that out of 9,000+ protests that there was some sort of bloodbath. BLM protestors simply weren’t out there committing a murder spree, which is what the post I disagreed with implied.

Yep, I wholeheartedly agree that this is a poor message to prioritize politically.

Whether the number was 11, or 40, that's 11 or 40 more people who were killed by Jan 6 protesters.

And nothing on Jan 6 compares to what happened in Seattle, literally cheered on by the mayor herself.

I agree that 1/6 isn’t what it’s made out to be by some. However, there’s two key points you’re ignoring:

    1) You’re comparing one protest to many, many protests.

    2) Your own sources indicate that there was at least roughly as many deaths attributed to individuals that appeared to be either counterprotesting or “providing assistance” to law enforcement.
