Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;......

And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

    Wright not looking great either.

Meanwhile, Pache bails him out with a tremendous throw to cut down the runner at third.

Pache with good throw to 3rd to cut down runner for 3rd out in 2nd.

Wright looks bad. 2s across line-- 2 runs, 2 hits, 2 BB, 2 Ks and WP that advanced 2 runners, 37 pitches, 22 for strikes

I'm about to lose my patience with Wright... with his experience level and raw stuff there is no reason he should still be struggling this badly. I wish we traded him when we could have gotten value for him.

Good grief. Wright has less than 100 innings at the mlb level and is 25 I guess fried sucks too. That last inning was a lined double. A close walk. A ****ty block by ajax and a few weak contact runs. You are acting like he is getting drilled. Yes he needs to quit nibbling so much and trust his stuff. But he is young and still learning.

Not only can Lamb not hit, he can't field hot 1 hoppers.

The Simmons PA epitomises his issues: he gets 0-2 on Simmons, then doesn’t seem to have any idea how to finish the batter off. He ends up getting to 3-2, with a WP along the way that advances runners, before finally inducing a grounder that would’ve been a DP if not for the WP. Just not the sequence you want to see.

Yeah lamb has been a disappointment. I think he is gone sooner rather than later.

Agreed. He seems to not have a plan. Just throwing. But that seems easier to fix than not having talent.

Fried was a raw high schooler who was a late developer because of TJS... Wright was thought to be an advanced college pitcher almost ready to be a serviceable in the majors when he was drafted... he has literally shown almost zero growth.

I think we should just start pache and let wilson c be back up catcher. Ajax is not a big league player.

60+ innings is enough to determine this?

No, I'm also using his 250+ minor league innings that were not very good.
