    In person attendance?

Has there been any talk of when a decision will be made on brave home games?

my understanding is there is a grand conspiracy to make it seem like covid is gone

so there will be full attendance...assuming the conspiracy is successful

Arizona mayors just sent MLB a letter this morning asking them to delay the start of spring training.

Just a guess, but we're probably a long way from any decision about regular season attendance being made.

Would just like to point out how crushing it is for the organization that the Braves have to host the all star game while the pandemic will likely still be going on. Won't be able to fully take advantage of all of the extra economic benefit that comes with hosting the all star game.

Was wondering if it will be handled like it was in the NFL this season. Certain states will allow and certain states won't.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the situation evolves during the season.

Really just depends on how you look at it - if you're a glass half full person, you'll be thrilled to have a chance to earn ANY revenue the other clubs don't get to after losing your *ss last season.

I really don’t understand why there would not be, when the NBA and NHL have returned to in-person attendance and they play indoors.

No reason they couldn’t do 50% capacity.

Interesting that Arizona wants to delay spring training, but allowed 5,000 fans every day at the Waste Management/Phoenix Open.

Slightly easier to social distance on the golf course (other than the 16th at Scottsdale) than it is in the stands at the park - in theory at least.

We have had limited cities allow a limited number of fans for NFL, NHL and NBA. Wonder if MLB would start with the same. Plus MLB already experimented with it in the playoffs. If that's the case, Atlanta seems like a place that allow fans. Here in NYC they definitely won't.

I stand corrected. NY has announced they will begin allowing fans in stadiums and arenas at around a 10% capacity starting later this month. You have to get tested and show proof of a negative result first.

Given how many catchers are on the roster, I can't say it seems likely. But you never know.

Twins are trying to seat 10,000 per game. It's been a little slow opening up here in Minnesota, but things are moving fairly rapidly now with indoor dining, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.
