You just refuse to acknowledge social security is going bankrupt not because of the idea of social security but the fact our economic/foreign/domestic policy are making it go bankrupt.
It's going bankrupt because it a ponzi scheme and it has run out of contributors.

That's the literal reason it has gone bankrupt

Please tell me what I am wrong and why we should continue the ponzi scheme

The buzz word of Ponzi scheme is such a cursory level analysis it’s hard to even engage.

It’s failed because we sent our jobs overseas / healthcare costs have exploded because we have 50m illegal as in the country in ER rooms / we’ve spent our treasure “fighting” overseas so MIC can buy more yachts.

But keep throwing out “Ponzi scheme”.

    That's fine

So he was an amazing candidate.

He then made a statement that alligned with Donald trump on Ukraine

And now he's a terrible candidate

That's fine. We've all gotten things wrong. But you keep bragging about your real time judgement and I'm wondering if you just got it wrong with RDS

Can you explain in your own words why it is different than a ponzi scheme?

    Aligned with trump? Sure thing.

If you think that well then I’m not sure what to say.

Trump say in front of the world and refused to condemn outin for crimea. He told reporters that the US has done shady ****. There is no prominent political that is aligned with trump on foreign policy. Well maybe except Ron Paul.

In your own words - like a broken record.

Your description of ponzu scheme can be applied to every single government expenditure.

    Not really.

This one is particular is a literal ponzi scheme

I invite you to really embarrass me, and explain in your own words how social security is not a ponzi scheme

In order to help you, here is the definition of a ponzi scheme

"A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that pays existing investors with funds collected from new investors."

I ask you again if your real time judgement of RDS, where you claimed he would be an amazing presidential candidate, was horrible flawed?

Can you tell me how a retired person who pays no taxes gets the roads fixed in front of their house?

How about FEMA that comes to disaster sites. Should they not help people that don’t pay into the tax coffers?

    No it's literally not.

Social Security in particular takes funds from you and me and delivers directly to grandma.

No other government program is run like that

If you can’t understand how thjngs have changed with WW3 on the horizon then I’ll never give you an answer you are satisfied with.

You just want to pretend the world is the same as it was even 2 years ago.

There are funds earmarked but a government budget can be reworked to allocate funds as needed. So yes it is like any other government expenditure.

And as noted exploding healthcare costs are a result of awful domestic policy - mainly unfettered illegal immigration. You wouldn’t be saying a word about any of this because there wouldn’t be a crisis if not for illegals sucking this country dry.

    This isn't a gotcha question.

You claim basically daily about how amazing your judgement is

You very recently (like 5 min ago) claimed that RDS would be an amazing president

Today you call him mediocre, irrelevant, and the same as Romney and McCain

I disagree with your current real world judgement. But what's clear is you have shifted.

That's fine. That's good! We should evolve with new info

But is it fair to say your real world judgement of RDS 5 min was horribly flawed?

The difference between the two is quite straight forward.

In one program, the person paying in does it with the expectation they’ll be directly paid out on the backend.

The other two are public utilities with positive externalities, which I would argue aren’t exactly managed well by government. FEMA especially has been quite disastrous.

Interesting side note - new developments in my county require HOA because they want HOA’s to be responsible for street repairs. Texas isn’t perfect but they tend to be good with common sense government.

5 minutes ago? Or after he indicated he is more than happy to escalate WW3? I know this is the part you pretend he wouldn’t.

Maybe you’re fine with WW3. I don’t know how aggressive the TDS is spreading.

This is what is so ****ing infuriating with you

When it comes.to SS, youre wrong. Not subjectively... But objectively wrong

It is run as a ponzi scheme.

You want to reform it? Campaign on reforming it!

    Like RDS did.

But you say it cannot be touched!

But you also.say it can be saved with some adjustments.

But you also say any politician who campaigns on adjusting it hates old people and cannot be elected

    Do you see the problem?

I don't want the dude who is completely alligned with AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden, solving our biggest financial problem

I want the guy who is willing to be serious and actually address the crashing train

Every single person pays taxes understanding they won’t be paying taxes forever. That person still expects government services such as roads or disaster recovery or military protection. Why is that any different?

    If it's not clear...

5 min ago doesn't mean literally 5 min ago

For the purposes of clarity, I'll adjust my language

You loved this guy 6 months ago

He made a.statement on Ukraine and now he's Romney 2.0

Was your judgement wrong 6 months ago?
