I do think you have to keep the fries hot, or they get dry.

I don't consider drinking local elitist. Especially because most places I go are cheaper than Starbucks.

I love Chick-Fil-A's nuggets and shakes. Both are top notch for fast food. Fries are decent. Nothing special. They are the king of falling into the the because of how the ries fell into the cup I got ripped off on fries game.

Pastrami is the most underrated lunch meat. It is very hard to find good pastrami, even in New York.

Why do people buy coffee outside the home?

Much more economical to purchase a good machine or if you prefer good old fashion drip a generic machine?

    Bustello is my go to.

that's so insufferably elitist i'm gonna have to agree 100%...i like the simplicity of a french press

my coffee grinder is obnoxiously loud and serves the secondary purpose of waking up my son, who has yet to figure out how alarm clocks work

I think their food is better than most fast food, but the service is definitely the draw. It's nice to know I'll get home with what was actually ordered on the rare occasions that we eat fast food.

I was raised on half and half coffee. Half used grounds, half new, to save money. If it wasnt strong enough you just ran it through the machine a second time. I guess that's why I just can't like quality coffee. I'll take the Folgers/Maxwell House stuff every time, with an occasional chicory blend if I feel like adding cream.

    False.

Belgium is a classic top notch location for beer. But the best beer comes from America. ANd it's mainly because of the scattergun approach and the fact that out beer culture we have now is laden to no one. We draw inspiration from Belgium, England, Germany, etc. Our best have worked with their best and we've learned from it.

While every belgian brewery may be a charm, we have 20 times more breweries.

Look at the Rate Beer top 50, the top 10 is 7 American, 2 Belgian, 1 Swedish.

ANd the reason America is tops is because every region is like a little Belgium. I look at where I live. I have at least 4 high quality breweries within 60 miles of me. ANd i live in the middle of nowhere relatively speaking. I can go to the Alchemist and get one of the highest rated beers in the world. I can go to Hill Farmstead and be at one of the highest rated Breweries in the world, I have in my town one of the best Czech Pilsners in the world, and a highly experimental brewery who has some hits, some misses and some acceptable beers.

Word. But when I find good pastrami I hold on tight. Sadly my favorite place around me changed their Pastrami up and I like it a bit less now. Still good. But not top notch like it was before. Before they used the round so it was tender and flavorful. Now they use the flat so the flavor bomb isn't as strong.

my grandmother got me started on coffee when i was four...and her way of drinking coffee (with condensed milk) still influences how i like it...i passed the tradition on to my daughter and was somewhat surprised to find her writing about coffee with dad in her college essay...my sons don't drink coffee which has confirmed my worst suspicions about them

What's more economical is just taking Caffeine tablets if all you're looking for is a buzz.

Bustelo is garbage. It's economical crap.

If you enjoy it, that's fine. But you live near NYC, there's probably a dozen quality roasters you have access to. Even if you go big time hype like Stumptown, who's kinda Starbucks Jr, you'll find a way better brew.

Personally I like ordering Asbury Park Roasters, they roast some amazing single origin coffee. Grind it up and cold brew it and have cold brew always on hand.
