Watching Riley’s front arm to see if he’s working in that arm bar and bat wrap.
Even from this angle you can see Riley’s first move with his hands wraps them behind his head and lengthens his swing.
Morton is knocking the rust off that breaking ball. It’s looking sharper in his second inning.
Pache wants everyone to know they don’t need Ender anymore.

What did the pache triple look like?
Acuña looking bad.
Morton looked pretty good. Was that his 2nd outing?

So cool to see Chipper in the uniform again...
Did ynoa look as good as his line?
Our starting pitching is going to be amazing this year.
Will be easy to patch together a solid pen.

Ynoa looked great
I'm a big dreamer on Pache. I remember he and Cruz and hearing scouts rave about Cruz and lament Pache beating the ball into the ground. The interesting part of that is that Pache was so quiet. Always listening, Cruz was a rock star....in his own mind.
Cruz looked the part though. He was a 70, close to 80 spd guy. (Only the legend himself - Randy Ventura was faster). He never lacked confidence. Didn't pan out but I still think he could have been good if he hadn't got in his own way. Most people don't know that Pache actually had a fracture in his elbow when we signed him. I think the scouts initially didn't like his swing...and it was a little funky. But the bat always got through the zone pretty quickly. The next year I saw him lifting the ball..getting stronger..and it's continued.
I said all that to say is that it was uncanny the difference in his swing from year to year. If Pache gets that continued instruction on his swing and adjust like he has, we will definitely be close to that 4+ win guy.
Ok back to the game.
Panda showing his immense laidership and clutchness with the go ahead RBI double.
