I just wish a reporter would have the balls to ask Fredi how he can justify running the same guys out there when they are beyond bad..

Fredi is still a new manager.

Bobby didn't figure it out for a few years... we forget this is only Fredi's 3rd full season of coaching (he only had half in FLA).

If he learned anything about patience and stubbornness, it's from his mentor Bobby Cox.

Cox trotted out Francouer everyday for 2 years. lol

Fredi would probably say that this lineup has given us a 5 game lead in the division and if it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm not saying that I agree with the lineup but right now our bench isn't that great with Gattis and Schafer out. Plus Uggla and both Upton's have shown some signs of life lately so maybe they can bust out of it soon.

those guys played 14 innings last night, except BJ, shouldn't someone get a rest today rather than tomorrow?

Simmons went 0-7 last night, I'dve given him a day, and MCCann too. Oh well. At least they got a look at Alvarez just a few days ago and might have a clue how to work him.

I wonder who's available to pitch in relief, on either team. A lot of innings logged last night. Almost have to use Alyala, which Fredi seems to be avoiding.

Wonder who will close for the fish.

It amazes me he won't at least try someone else at leadoff. Simmons was what, 0-7 last night?

One thing I liked about Bobby is when he called a decent prospect up, he would get starts. Jason can play center and put the Terd in left for a game. Also for the love of God please put Simmons in the 8 spot!

He doesn't even have to change it up that much, this lineup would be fine.

    Heyward
    Johnson
    Upton
    Freeman
    McCann
    Uggla
    BJ
    Simmons

I'm beginning to think, and I may be waayyy off here, that this is a Billy Beane money ball situation here....maybe wren or leadership is dictating this lineup construction more than we know...

Simmons leading off doesn't fit Moneyball.

If this were football, I'd call it the "prevent offense."

Where is the expert scout who said that Teheran can't miss bats?

He misses them so much, he sleeps with one under his pillow at night.

Heads are still spinning from Minor and Freeman being very good players.
