Pounded the bottom of the zone with 2 good heaters, then got a swing and a miss on a hanging curve.

finished off the last batter with a change.

he looks healthy, but understandable rusty.

The Braves aren’t going to be able to keep Contreras down for long. He’s looking polished.

I appreciate the team committing the 2 errors to allow Soroka to get a few more reps in.

How much did Soroka end up pitching, and what was the plan for him, duration-wise?
"For all his tattooings he was on the whole a clean, comely looking cannibal."

Oh, you mean because Acuna is hitting first? The whole 40 HR - 58 RBI problem?

Now imagine that lineup without Ozuna and with Inciarte in left.

Smyly looked great, Soroka was okay. He seems to have his curveball, but trouble controlling the fastball in the zone. It will come with more reps.

good to hear. I saw two walks in two innings and thought that does not look like Soroka.

Aside from some less than stellar results for some of the key offensive contributors, this ST went about as well as we could have hoped.

The only injury of note was to Touki, and the rest of the SPs (including Soroka) all looked good.

The bench is bad, but the best options revealed themselves and made the team.

The only question marks are Pache/Ender in CF, and whether or not Riley will be an average bat or an impact bat at 3B.

And a potential new top prospect emerged. This was a really good spring.
