The SPs aren't the only guys that made our hitters look like they might need to go back to Gwinnett for a while, sorry.
It's not JUST Riley and Pache - everybody looks lost.
Cy Scherzer gave up 4 of the 5 runs - AND other than for one out we used nothing other than our best RPs and we still lost. Call me a dinosaur if you wish, but you simply have to put the ball in play every once in awhile. I'm willing to bet they've never won another game where he gave up 4 HRs.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
What happens first?
A. Albies gets a hit
B. Braves get a win
C. Riley and pache go back-to-back
D. Ender starts a game
Guess ynoa is starting game 1 per At Bat. If I were nats, I'd throw stras then to go for series win.
They haven't decided on the playoff format yet? Am I reading this correctly?
Looks like fried vs fedde at 11am tomorrow. Max, be the ace.
Braves haven’t lost more than four games in a row since 2017. If they lose the first game tomorrow, it’s time to worry.
We’re 0-3 already in 1-run games this year. That worries me that all of our luck the last few years in that category has finally turned.
There is very little correlation between K rate and team offense. No matter what boomers think about Ks, MLB FOs have long since learned that they are no worse than any other out.
The Braves are simply going through a stretch of bad outcomes. Their .175 BABIP that ranks 2nd worst in MLB shows this. Their -.120 xwOBA delta that is easily worst in MLB shows this.
The Braves have gone through a stretch of games where they’ve been completely hosed in ball in play luck. It is completely unsustainable...in a good way.

Melancon with 3 stops and only one base runner through 3 appearences.
Will Smith, in year 2 of 3 year / $40 mil contract = $13.33 / season
Melancon, in year one of potential 2 year deal... $2 mil.....
By a show of hands, who would you rather give the ball to in the 9th?
