This is why Newk has to remain a full-time relief pitcher. Dude is just so much better in that role. If Smith doesn’t get his **** together, Sean is going to be closer soon lol

There are throwers and there are pitchers and I think they tried to make a pitcher out of Newcomb (which is logical given his age and where he was on his development arc when obtained), but he's a thrower and will likely remain as such. Let him go out there and throw high cheese in the high-90s and let the chips fall where they may.

Is it me, my television screen (and computer monitor), or something else, but the team looks trimmer this season (except for Panda). Noticed it with both Newcomb and Acuna.
