I don't know if there's anything to it, but joe Simpson went on a rant on the radio saying the braves need to quit trying to turn Riley into a slap hitter... something about just let em swing hard as hell and live with the high ks. No idea what he heard on this or if joe was even sober. I did find it interesting

I haven't seen any evidence that this is the case with Riley. It was true of Francoeur back in the day so who knows.

Somebody clearly told Riley he had to cut back on his Ks, and the result is this punch and judy hitter who actually has lighthouse power. It sucks, but he is totally broken right now.
