I have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that Flowers went from being a perfectly acceptable MLB backup catcher to completely out of baseball over the course of a few months. Meanwhile, the Braves are giving PAs to Alex Jackson.

Agreed. Seems like backup catcher has the longest lifespan. Wonder if the arm isn’t even competitive back there anymore ?

Shane greene doesn't have a job either. Perhaps Shane and Tyler feel they're worth a certain amount, and they won't play for less than that amount

BTW, when will we have enough of a sample to see Jackson's framing stats?
