I have to wonder if Ynoa has any kind of track record as a hitter in Dominican play. In the minors he has all of 3 AB's and 3 K's. I mean, this doesn't come out of nowhere. Or can it?

um, yes. it’s happened a good bit recently. specifically the Heat played it against the Sixers last year multiple times.

it’s definitely not illegal lol. some teams switch to it a good bit.
