I mean I’ve always liked him but it’s crazy how well he’s done.

Haha. Fried said he’s “feeling great and itching to get back out there”...I bet he doesn’t make it 4 tomorrow.

Well maybe he gets it turned around. We've had 1 starter so far this season that hasn't been a disappointment

He’s clearly tagged on the pocket.

Looked pretty conclusive to me. Both the glove and the pocket bent.

I think we'll see a different Fried over his few starts. His issues were mental or mechanical but his pitches - velocity and all - were fine.

I think over the next month, we'll see a much better Morton, smyly, and yes, fried.

Morton honestly hasn’t either. I really think he’s been snake bitten.

I don’t care if Jackson comes back hitting 1000....he needs to get down once TD gets back...Contreras is here to stay

Contreras looking like he will be our everyday catcher next year

Contreras needs to catch everyday most of the year. I'd bring him up for good down the stretch though.

I saw the same. You could also see Austin frown a tad after and then looked obviously relieved after he saw the ump call him safe.

    He know it.

I didn't even think Ynoa was going to crack the rotation to start the year. Everything seemed to be pointing to Wilson having the 5th spot to start the year, and then all of the sudden it was Ynoa.
