    Snit more important than FF.

It was. But even down by a run or two, that’s a high leverage situation and not the place to use Webb.

Since firing Snit and replacing him with someone like Weiss would be counterproductive, the FO needs to script the most likely 15 or so scenarios for every game. His poor decisions can't continue to be a headwind against the team in close games. Snit isn't causing losses with his choices (even the optimal choice is only slightly better than the others), but he sure is making it harder to win.

What adds to the buffoonery is that there's the old adage "You play for a tie and home and the win on the road." If it's a tie game late, you do everything in your power to keep it a tie game. He goofed it up from both the old school and new school angles.

I don't know if Shane Greene's presence will make that much of a difference if he's not going to be used correctly.

He used smith up 4 in the 9th of game 2 last series making him unavailable for game 3 which was a close game late. Not saying we trot tomlin out there. But jeez not smith there.
