I'm ready to see ball in Mississippi. Are we actually developing a 1b prospect?

I thought it was interesting to see both Dustin and Jace Peterson with the Brewers' AAA Nashville affiliate.

Braves OF prospect Drew Waters homered twice while going 3-for-5 on Tuesday for Triple-A Gwinnett.
Waters, 22, has his his first two homers of the season. After a slow start, the outfielder has begun to swing the bat more at the level of a top prospect -- which Waters is -- and has improved his slash to .268/.362/.488 in 10 games. The left-handed hitter has a chance to hit for a high average despite swing-and-miss in his profile because of his bat speed and ability to use the whole field. The power is coming along as well, and Waters has the speed to steal 25-plus bases. Don't be surprised if he sees time with Atlanta this year, but he should be a starter by the middle of 2022. He's an excellent fantasy baseball prospect.

Here's to hoping Waters is about to make the progress I didn't think he would make.

I thought he was a switch hitter. Did he give that up?

He's still switch-hitting - one homer from each side last night.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

    Hopefully we see him sooner.

    I’m not a scout.

But if Riley can get a high obp then I think they have a shot to teach waters.

Kid has good to great hit tool and great bat speed by everyone. He will need to learn to look for pitches to drive .

I can see him as our cf at the deadline if we are still competing

Despite it being nothing special it’s still better than my poor writing skills.

I can’t deny inspiring it however...
