Man, I loved those late 80s braves teams with Horner, Murphy, Zane smith, Benedict, etc. I watched Sanford and son and braves like every night as a kid

Was out of the country during much of the 80s but I remember reading about them in Stars and Stripes. Braves had a pretty decent following among servicemen/women otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the coverage we did get.
