Looks like a lot of leagues are just doing the Tuesday-Sunday six-game-series approach.

    I believe it's a minors-wide move.

After his 2 game spurt where he poked 3 HRs over the short RF wall, Waters has gone 1-17 with 6 Ks and 1 BB. Folks around here have since stopped hyping him, and have gone completely silent.

Harris is getting good results off the back of a sky high BABIP, and it would be nice to see that 4.4% BB rate improve before he is promoted.

It looks like AAA-West is the only league playing on Mondays. They probably take another day off.

It is always amazing (at least to me) when fans take a look at a game (or a week) and make pronouncements. Waters is going to play in the big leagues at some point, but he has a ways to go.

I hope the Braves don't get promtion happy with Harris. They have been aggressive moving prospects up since the Anthopoulos era PD staff has been in place (which I've never really liked, but I don't see a Braves logo on the top of my paycheck), but given that there was no minor league season last year, I think patience is in order.

I've not notice the current org being any more aggressive than their predecessors. If anything I'd say they've been less so.

Are fans getting carried away about waters any worse than crapping on him with the "short rf fence" comment? Here's a link with all 3 HRs (2 pulled to rf and 1 oppo to rf)... https://www.milb.com/player/drew-waters-671221

None looked like cheap HRs. Sure harbor park has a short rf fence at 318 ft, but those are gone at truist or high off the 325 ft fence

Maybe fans were carried away because Pache is /was struggling and struggled? For those wanting Waters to have found his MOJO, I can see it. I wish Pache would have had a clue at the plate because I still think he'll be the better player long term. (I have to stick with that since I have his entire minor career).

Meh. Long season. Maybe Waters /Pache are who we think they are???

It's been uneven, but the way they pushed Bryse Wilson through the system didn't make much sense to me. Same with Waters. Acuna is all-world, so that move is justifiable. I agree that the previous PD staff moved Swanson and Albies too quickly

I was pointing out the laughable fickleness of the posters. After 2 good games they came out of the woodwork to make proclamations about how they always knew he was going to be awesome. Then less than a week later...silence.

Personally, I think Waters is a perfectly good prospect with approach concerns...and I’ve been consistent in that assessments regardless of how well he hits in any 2 games.

No, I think it's fine as long you keep that narrative up when Riley starts to struggle

The Pirates series was also 4 games, so a much larger and meaningful sample.
