There is absolutely no way of telling if that were the case....I find it hard to believe that a dude with 30+ years experience in baseball fell for that bull ****. Maybe he should have went to the other relievers outside of Jackson or Martin who that has the other sub 5 ERAs...in the 5th inning.

Stop acting like you care, FF... run out there and congratulate the next dodger for embarrassing us
I really do like AA, but his refusal to trace assets may have cost us a title last year. This season, he continues to allow snit to run this team into the ground. Oh, and AA has a pen with entirely too many lhps
What was zbhargrove’s decision there in that instance? Also note Jackson can’t pitch the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th....because aside from Martin, statistically he’s the best we got but we all know he truly sucks but is good enough for mid level and low level situations.
I’m so tired of watching pitchers throw the ball and having no clue where it’s going.

This is where Snitker's old school mentality fails. That was literally the game right there. Not the 7th inning or the 9th inning which now don't even matter. Games can be lost at any point in the game. And it was obvious that was happening in the 5th. So we trot out Newk and Dayton...
And this I understand....my point was what about the other innings...What do we have after bringing in our juice in the 5th that can slow this high octane offense down?
I think the MO is the same....expect and hope the starters to give you 5 or 6 and turn it over to your “high leverage” guys...although they suck too.
See how we routinely swing at pitches out of the zone. That's one of the big differences in these teams
Maybe this season is a lost cause. We certainly aren't good enough as we currently are, and AA won't make the trade to get the type of impact players we need. I like AA not squandering assets, but sometimes you have to push your chips in, and I just don't see him doing it
