Funny thing was the Braves got bit twice by the surprise acceptance of an arbitration offer twice in the decade; once with Maddux and once with Soriano. Different GMs making the same bad decision.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he goes to another team and becomes a good pitcher. He fits the mold imo of a pitcher who gets fixed with a small tweak but it's never going to happen with us. I am a big believer that the organization a player is developed by has a bigger effect on their outcome than we recognize. Some players are just going to be second team bloomers.
