I realize this has been said earlier but it's hard to be competitive when bottom five spots in your batting order have a collective batting average of about .230 with the highest of the lot (tonight) being the pitcher at .294.

You know the game is an utter blowout when Ron Darling and Gary Cohen are reduced to talking about "how old is too old for a grown man to be wearing a team jersey?" and "the composition of today's Cracker Jacks vs. 30 years ago." LOL
