Know how to tell your offense is in dire need of an upgrade?
You start a guy in LF without the platoon advantage who was deemed too poor offensively to play everyday at SS.

The solution to the gaping hole in the OF is batting right now. He’s been the solution from opening day.
I think I just heard the Marlins broadcast team say that the Braves have 0 extra base hits in roughly the last 24 innings?
I’m at the game up the 1B side and it looks like Morton is DEALING
Ivermectin Man
I’m so happy AA signed Morton.
Charlie is indeed dealing !
Swanson and Heredia are fine when providing defense at premium positions while batting 7-9. It’s not fine when they are batting 5-6.
If AA can get a bat for the OF and TDA comes back to provide his projected numbers, this offense will be just fine.
Well that was needed
Ronald might be good.
Forever Fredi
I’m guessing the Marlins are a little butt hurt over that HR celebration.
Ronnie’s homers are the best in baseball. Goodness.
Dude walked down the line like it was a no doubter, then it went into the first row.
We were about 5’ away from another argument about Acuna’s hustle.
Need to add on, get the win and have the Marlins leave Marte behind with us.
We are about to see a situation where Morton is due up 2nd in the 5th in a 1 run game. He should be right around 80 pitches, and hopefully less than 80. The Marlins have RHHs in the top 5 slots of the order.
It’s probably the correct move to punt the PA in the 5th to allow Morton to face those RHHs a 3rd time as long as he completes the 5th in a reasonable number of pitches.
Franklin hit another hr today. He should be in Mississippi this week
He gave up some hard hit outs against that part of the order. Doesn’t matter whether we leave him in or not; we are not winning the game if we can’t score more than two runs.
