If it's really Bryse Wilson and Ricky Devito then that's a steal considering some of the deals that have happened today.

Disagree... I think this was a fantastic trade deadline.... we just got 3 decent OFers and a closer for almost nothing

watched them both plenty. Kalich is a solid guy, maybe more. Devito is the one to dream on.

Freeman has a 138 WRC+ and Bryant at 132. Like I said, they are comparable. I would expect Freeman to get a little bit more of a return. But I doubt it could have touched Rizzo without the Braves eating cash.

Kalich is a relief only prospect and David Lee has seen him a lot this year and says his stuff is down and it wasn't that good in the first place

ok.. this deadline turned on a dime.. The RichRod is a freaking slam dunk win for the Braves. I really like the collection of cast off out fielders we got too.. just seems like we can run different lineups out there all the time and still have a good collection of bench pieces to boot. Now will Twit be able to handle this..

The Braves OF situation is currently:

    Joc LHH
    Heredia RHH
    Almonte SH
    Duvall RHH
    Soler RHH
    Rosario LHH

I suppose Joc and Duvall can fake it in CF, but I have to imagine Heredia will be the everyday guy there? Flanked by Joc and Soler? With Duvall, Almonte and Rosario coming off the bench? Maybe Duvall in there for Joc once in a while?

David Lee says Kalich's stuff is down this year and he's a relief only prospect at high A... he's not gonna be much

I think they will try Joc and/or Duvall in CF.

Would be happier about these moves if I had any confidence in Snit using them correctly.

I say just fake it with Joc and Duvall and remove Heredia all together.

Does Soler still have his cannon?

Rodriguez might be a set up man really, but that's a good controllable asset for nothing much.

I think the outfield is dramatically better than it was, which is maybe still not great.

No, he has proven he won't. The first guy to have a multi-hit game with a HR will be the everyday guy for the rest of August. Meanwhile, the other OFers will rot on the bench watching Smyly bat in the 6th inning of every close game so he can face 2 more batters the next inning.

A competent manager could turn these pieces into something. Unfortunately, Snit is not that guy.

I think set up with the occasional close when the 9th is loaded with righties.
