I wouldn’t give up Waters at this point for Bryant. If we were super close and still had Acuna yeah but not where we stand.

    This is what I'm guessing.

Its a shame that Blackmon has two player options because with the Rockies picking up half the salary I think he would be perfect.

Too left handed but again I don't want to let perfect be the enemy of good.

I was told Minter and Tomlin are being made available for help landing Kimbrel.

Too lazy to look it up, but does Jackson ever have a clean inning?

At this point I'm just hoping the Mets and Phillies make stupid moves that will make them slightly better this year but hurt them in the future.

Ryan Tepera is playing a few miles south now. White Sox acquired him.

Yeah he's one of the older controllable guys that could be a late bloomer given the right instruction... his statcast data is very impressive

Schwarber drawing interest. If he's close, we need em.

Agreed if he'll be healthy soon... he would look great in our lineup

How much would Washington want back for Schwarber?

So with the Braves taking the series, they did exactly what I feared would happen. End the series just close to feign being competitive, whilst still not playing all that well. Pretty much ends any hopes anyone had of selling. And we're still not really close to the division lead and still under .500.

Just looking at generic trade values... Schwarber at his currently salary would be worth something like Tucker Davidson/Vaughn Grissom

The Twins are apparently getting a ton of calls about Berrios.

On the plus side, it's unlikely anyone more prominent than a middle reliever or a utility player will be acquired. Not as good as selling, but it won't cost much future value.

The NL East tightens up: The #Mets lead is now 4 games over the #Phillies and Atlanta with all three teams trying to make moves in the next 25 hours before the trade deadline.
