Hudson would be nice pickup for us. I guess the Nats have little interest in dealing with us.

It’s going to be an upgrade over Almonte/Heredia (or a platoon partner), but not a superstar. Probably not going to get us into the playoffs, but gives us more than a snowball’s chance.

I don't see Contreras on that list. And considering the success that both Davidson and Muller have had this season (as brief as it may be) you'd have a hard time selling me that they're only 45 and 40+ FV prospects.

We have two guys 50 and higher now that Anderson is off the list. Pache and Waters have both downgraded a tier after their not so great seasons as well. The fact is the Braves have graduated Swanson, Albies, Acuna, Riley, Fried, Soroka, and Anderson in the last 5 years and all have had varying degrees of success. Wright, another top prospect, has busted. Time will tell about Pache.

But that is a lot of really good prospects the Braves have churned out and the cupboard is finally bare. Winning and the Coppy sanctions are a pretty big part of that.
I think “bare” is selling it a little short.

Contreras used up his prospect status so he got bumped. But he was a 45+

Let's be realistic here. Davidson has a 4.51 FIP And .222 BABIP.

Muller has excellent results. But also a low BABIP (.230) and an unsustainable HR/9 of 0.36

Not saying both can't be useful pitchers but let's not be homers here.

Maybe. But the impact prospects are gone. Langeliers is likely our only top 100 prospect next year unless they keep Pache on it for some reason. It's thin.

Like I said though, there’s potential for more.

It’s the Padres and Dodgers and everyone else. Wondering why the Giants are sitting on their hands. Surely that team of over achievers will not play like this in October.

Boy this sure would be a fun time to send Morton to the Padres. Pressure Preller to respond to the Scherzer deal

If they give us Makenzie Gore or Cj Abrams. I take him to the airport.

Neither of those are happening for Morton. It would be someone like Ethan Elliot or maybe Hassell if the Braves ate all of the salary.

Always potential. But the Braves rank 25th in Fangraphs farm system ranking for whatever it's worth.

As were now less than 20 hours until the deadline, I’m going to be watching to see if the Pirates deal Bryan Reynolds and Richard Rodriguez

I'd hate to pay the tab for that package, but we'd win easily

No, get used to it. Our scouting went full retard.

Left out Merrifield. Plug him in in CF or LF and in the leadoff spot, slot Pederson behind Riley, and d’Arnaud behind him, and suddenly the lineup is incredibly deep again. Add Rodriguez and Ynoa and/or Touki to the pen to replace Greene and Tomlin and Anderson to the rotation and you ought to be able to run the Mutts down.

I’m still holding out hope AA gets Bryant for some arm the Cubs will just screw up like they do with all their pitching prospects.

I understand all those things. But even reaching the majors is a feat, much less having success once you get here as a starter. 40+ seems way too low on Davidson. Muller was a 2nd round pick, a lefty throwing in the upper 90's, and missing plenty of bats (in the majors no less). Again, seems like a solid 50 FV to me.

Muller is throwing 92 to 94. Once that ticks down you are going to have JT version 2. He is on borrowed time and should be cashed in Withing the next few years IMO.

What's the movement on it? Fangraphs has him at 70 grade on fastball
