We will either receive the deathblow. Or be the givers of the deathblow. Exciting times.

With Wilson going in game 2, it's a must win in game 1.

It really feels like the Braves need to take 4 out of 5 in this series if they are serious about making a run.

This seemed like a perfect time to give Roark a shot.

I hope I'm wrong, but Wilson feels like a 3 IP, 4 ER type of guy tonight -- even with a poor Mets offense.

Won't matter a bit to us if we lay an egg this series, but starting august 13th, the Mets play the dodgers and giants 13 straight games. If we stick around, could be a big stretch

Could be, but I am also reminded that the Braves haven't made one West Coast trip this year --- and even the best Braves teams have struggled out there.

It does feel that way. I hope AA is prepared to sell, but I seriously doubt he is.

Great point. Braves have two west coast trips to make in September, which are bound to not go well. One of those is a 10 game trip. If we are not out of it by then, that would easily be the death blow.

They could easily lose both series, but 1 of those has 4 games vs dbacks snd the other has 4 games with Rockies.

This may be a first. The Braves-Phillies replay is showing opposite Braves-Mets pregame on other Bally channel.
