A lot of offensive guys to keep an eye on and few pitchers. Harris is heating up and seems to be cuttings his k’s down.

Lugbauer is the kind of player who used to have a role in an earlier era. LHH with some power who can play C (although he's more a 1B/DH type). 1960s baseball was littered with guys like him. I was surprised to see him on the Mississippi roster this year given his struggles in previous seasons and he strikes out at an alarming rate. That said, he's had a nice season.

Walks are going up as well. Now, we just need to see some power development.

Thing with a guy like Lugbauer is that he needs to really kill the ball to have any value, especially if he's not playing a competent catcher, and even in his good minor league seasons he was mostly just "pretty good" with the bat. Even going back to college he's never had one of those 1.000+ OPS seasons you'd like to see from a guy like him in the minors.

Still, wouldn't be surprised to see him get a cup of coffee at some point in his career. You always need catchers who can hit a little. If nothing else he can do the Crash Davis thing for a long time.
