Nah, I feel like we will be adding new inventory

Honestly, probably not a bad thing. We have graduated the better portion of our talent in the system, while others have lost their esteem. It may be time to restock the cupboard

    You must just mean Pache.

Everyone else not in the upper tier has really done pretty well.

Kinda sad when you look at things this way, but...

Gwinnett has a better record than the big club with Wilson and Wright taking regular turns in their rotation and with Waters, Pache, Camargo, A-Jax, and Kipnis in their lineup.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

That should serve as a cautionary tale for those who value Top 100 prospects so highly.

I'm speaking of guys overall like Touki, Wilson, Wright, Pache, etc, They have all had moments that flash greatness, but other than that, have been rather disappointing on the whole

This is such an odd statement. Welcome to following baseball 101?

    AAAA prospects are not unusual.

It's just another indication of how the major leagues are in a different galaxy than the minor leagues. I have this saying that I first applied about Mike Hessman (who I really thought was going to be a decent player at the major league level and may have been a solid contributor in the way strikeouts are treated in the current era) that I think accurately describes a lot of guys at AAA: "He has to play every day to be any good, but he's not good enough to play every day."

Outside of Waters, Pache, and Contreras (and maybe Alex Jackson) who are all still in their developmental stage, the rest of the hitters in Gwinnett fall into the 24th/25th man on a big league roster, which is what a lot of AAA baseball has become. They eat up AAA pitching, which is inconsistent on a day-to-day basis, but when promoted to the major leagues, they may get three-to-five PAs per week and can't get into any rhythm against much better--and much more consistent--pitching. There's an art to being a utility player/pinch hitter. It's why guys like Adrianza will likely play until their mid-30s. Maybe Camargo and Demeritte can still get there, but it's difficult.

I thought TDA was going to start tonight in the minors. I don't see him in any of the lineups.

I think he's working out with the consistently rained-out FCL team.
