I don't know if this series is really something to be celebrated. A couple of more timely runs and it could have really been meaningful. As is, just enough to give a little hope without really making much headway. Kind of a microcosm of the season...

Will be interesting to see what happens before tomorrows game. I think first pitch tomorrow is 7:20. Will there be any additions to this team? Who will be gone from our team?

My guess is a bargain store upgrade in left like Enscheff was referencing and hopefully a righty reliever.

Went thru a really tough stretch to start the 2nd half without Ian, and we didn't lose any ground. Hopefully we have another bat or 2 before we face another tough team this weekend. After that, schedule lets up

While not in optimal shape, we are far from dead. Four games out, 49 games (plus two innings of a leftover game against the Padres in San Diego in which we were trailing in the bottom of the fifth) left, contending with two other teams. Like most seasons, it'll come down to what we do in the final weeks. I know we're wounded but we'll get some key pieces back regardless of what AA does at the deadline. Keep the faith, folks.
