Smith is so bad. He throws the fattest pitches.

9 wins in a row. Yes it was the Nats, Marlins, and O's. But the Braves beat up on the teams they should have and put themselves in great position.

    That, and his fastball sucks.

He’s been doing it for the better part of two years now. It has to be a mechanical thing, and I can’t believe it hasn’t been addressed.

We've proven we can destroy bad teams; now let's see if we can go .500 against the elite ones. Obviously, if we can do that, I really like our long term chances.

And, in an odd scheduling quirk, the Braves last 5 road series of the year are the 5 NL West teams.

i would think it was scheduled that way in the event the season might get cut short due to Covid?

Toussaint showing a lot of promise as a solid back-of-rotation option going forward.

I fortunately with Ian coming back soon that means someone has go slide…I think it should be Smyly…but he makes too much for that

Smith makes me nervous as hell, but he pulls them out for the most part. Hopefully this HR tear is just a bad stretch

I’m more thinking about 2022. And it’s nice to know he’s an option, irrespective of how the last six weeks’ rotation shakes out. They could also go with a six-man group, though, so who knows.

Ya I really want to see Touki given a chance at the 5 spot next season.
He was great for us this season and really helped save us when injuries hit.
Hopefully the Smyly experience is over after the year and we let Touki take his spot
