I, personally, am not expecting anything from us in the offseason. It was a blessing just to win the division with the year we had. But if we do get knocked out of the playoffs, the Brewers are the team I would be less upset about it in the end. (I am originally from Kenosha,WI)
Well, we've already made a few of our offseason moves. Extending TDA, Charlie. TBD on Freddie. But other than Freddie/big bat and the outfield, we're just about good. Maybe try to find a late inning BP arm on a good deal.

Also I think some were looking at Gallo as a possible acquisition at the trade deadline this year to fill one of our many OF openings. He's under team control for one more season so that idea wasn't a bad one. Apparently the Braves were real close to getting him as too. Despite how each have played since being traded I would have preferred Gallo over Soler.
Personally, I think Gallo is a losing player and Soler occasionally isn't.

    I don't give a **** about metrics that say a .200 BA .300 obp and 37% k rate is a good idea.

Rob Deer? Howard Hessman ring any bells. Braves have been interested in Soler for some time and finally caught him. So far, so good.

I agree, but we’re not talking about Adam Duvall.

Duvall isn't a good idea. He's an average one.

Maybe so but so far he has better results than Gallo or Rob Deer.

And so we are clear, I have never been a Duvall fan .....

Nothing to really suggest Duvall has had a better season than Gallo

Gallo is a solid player. Sure he will suck when his power goes away. But there's probably 3-4 years before that happens.

There is zero chance the Dodgers give a run like that away against us.

If I’m forced to go Dodgers I want them to win in the most controversial way in the history of the game...something way worse than 2012.

I’m torn. In my heart of hearts, I hate the Cardinals way more than the Dodgers. However, seeing a 100+ win, 300+ million dollar team be ousted after one game would be humorous to me, and it might possibly entice MLB to change the stupid rule.
