Pretty interesting question given the fact that the team is smack in the middle of its contention window and how close Langeliers is - would you trade him for an inexpensive piece (or pair him with someone for a couple pieces) that you control for a couple seasons? MLBTR put out their blurb this afternoon wondering about what the Marlins might do in their search for a potential "answer" at Catcher since they appear to be finished with the Alfaro experiment (behind the plate anyway), and the Braves were one of the trading partners they had on their list. Considering their penny-pinching ways - and AA's probable need to pick up cheap pen and bench pieces - would you utilize the catching depth and someone like Waters to get a couple pretty important secondary pieces? For example...

Contreras and Waters for Dylan Floro and Garrett Cooper?

Tromp could serve as d'Arnaud's backup at the beginning of the season while Langeliers gets regular ABs in Gwinnett until he's deemed "ready", and he and d'Arnaud could split time in the second half if things work out as hoped

Floro replaces Martin as a late-inning right-handed option to pair with Jackson, and Cooper takes Duvall's place as part of the LF/DH picture. They project Floro will make $2.4 million in arbitration and Cooper will pull down $3 million in 2022 - both are controlled through 2023. Assuming Ozuna's your DH (at some point), you keep Pederson if he decides he wants to stay or you re-sign Rosario. Pederson/Rosario and Cooper handle the corners until Acuna's ready and Ozuna's suspension is over and then become your LF platoon. While Cooper doesn't quite offer Duvall's power, he's a *elluva lot better hitter - and won't cost you nearly as much money.

I think we should trade for a young MVP caliber OF and a big bat for DH with off the field issues. Maybe even trade for a young injury prone top of the rotation starter.

Go get Reynolds from Pitts and resign Freeman and Soler and another good starter. We are dominate LH in the bullpen so I’d like to see a lockdown righty too like Graveman.

I wouldn't have any expectations about Soroka and be pleasantly surprised if he comes back a quality pitcher honestly.

Yeah - After those top five I listed is another five legit major league arms.

Team is absolutely stacked right now.

Just focus on keeping Soler/Rosario right now.
