Ironically, VCRs tend to sell pretty well on EBAY, due to the shortage of them available.

If you're going to play Duvall in LF and Pache in CF - and you'd prefer not to spend $8 million (or more) chasing someone like Rosario or Pederson - you could make the argument that he's a perfect fit as a LH DH/backup 1B/emergency Catcher. That $8 million would cover Ozuna's 2022 salary if he has to be added back during the second half.
I don't think so. He's 25 and had some power outputs before.

I think he's the perfect throw in for a trade where the team getting him can squint and maybe see something. I'd like to see him as the third or 4th piece for a poo poo platter deal.

    The hi-fi ones.

There's a bit of demand to transfer old vhs movies to digital. Seeing as how we're at the point where most of those vhs' are starting to degrade their physical life span.

Fun fact: SAV actually keeps the entire code for Chop Country on a series of several hundred VHS tapes.

The confusing thing is that he keeps them in his trunk while he's driving all around the continent. He said something about liking to sleep next to them.

Tyler Wade and Clint Frazier DFAd by the Yankees - would assume AA would have varying levels of interest in both, particularly Wade. Bringing him in would save roughly $1.4 million if you let Arcia go.

He's a guy who has to hit a ton to be valuable, considering his baserunning and defensive limitations (he only caught one game this past minor league season). Seems really unlikely that's going to happen.
Yes, he's not a good hitter and he can't play catcher so he has very little value to anyone.

This is my main concern with him, and with the benefit of hindsight should have been something we foresaw. He came to ST both seasons in Atlanta out of shape, and only got back into shape for the shortened 2020 season after being convinced by his wife…who may no longer be in the picture. It’s easy to forget he’s only 31 because he looks like an out of shape 40 year old.

I suspect Ozuna will sit out the entire 2022 season, and by the time 2023 ST comes around I fear he will be so out of shape he will no longer be effective. It also seems like this is something we should have seen coming because there were warning signs…just like the signs present with guys like Andruw Jones.

Wish MLB would give some resolution on how long he's out in 2022 so AA can make a move for Soler or someone else. And if we get any relief for next year. We may be forced to keep him if not though, by choice.

I doubt they do anything until his diversion program is completed in Jan.

Hard to see us losing anyone from that list.
Could see one of the rebuilding clubs take a shot at Daysbel Hernandez and his high K numbers - wouldn't hurt someone trying to fill their pen cheaply. Troy Bacon might fit for someone trying to do that as well.

Speaking to that. His diversion program was a 24 week diversion program under supervision. How can he be supervised in the DR?

Unsurprisingly, the Athletics are putting a very high asking price on Matt Olson in any trade talks, as MLB Network’s Jon Heyman tweets the A’s are “shooting for the moon” in their demands. It remains to be seen whether any team will line up on an Olson trade, and yet parting with a big trade package would probably be justifiable, considering Olson’s impressive track record. Olson is the most prominent of what could be several Oakland trade candidates this winter, as the club looks to be cutting back on payroll.

    What’s plan B?

Why would Ozuna be out next year? Literally just missed an entire season. I cant remember any suspensions over a year long.
