Agreed. This is not the right move to make.

Even if Morton goes in a short outing he will be facing the LHH version of the Brewers. Smyly could come in after Morton and face the lineup once though.

This should have been a LHP starting, followed by Ynoa or Smyly.

There is a key for today, but I am not sure what it is... any thoughts?

The key is the Braves are going to absolutely destroy this LHP.

Oh, and don't be stupid overextending Morton.

why did Braves have him pitch on short rest? Seems odd.

I'm hoping it's a deke just to make the Brewers commit to their lefties, than put Smyly in 3-5, or until Counsell switches his hitters.

Given he threw 85 pitches on Saturday, I'd be shocked if he goes more than two or three innings, even if he's cruising.

and what promotional genius decided everyone will wear black and we will give out black towels to wave... literally looks like an enhanced batter's eye around the entire park...

Soler with COVID-19. Swanson, Freeman, Albies, Riley, Duvall, Pederson, d'Arnaud, Heredia, Morton

    That's a huge loss.

Are they still testing vaccinated players if they don’t have symptoms?
