A little nerves might have been making him do it. Like I said he was doing it during his bad spell in the early part of the year as well. TDA and Kranitz need to be more aware of this when he's doing it.

I didn't hear him say this myself, but the MLB network radio guys in the pregame yesterday said that Snitker said he would keep Soler on the bench through the end of this series.

I think it makes sense. He's bound to be rusty. And you have right handed starters in game 6 and 7. Duvall is entrenched in CF, and then you've got lefties in Rosario and Pederson in LF and RF. Save Soler for later in the game when they have a lefty in to face Pederson, or a big spot when you can pinch hit for the pitcher.

It's hard to imagine he's ready to produce after not seeing live pitching for a week. This is probably the right call.

Why? Max has no control over what Bauer does or doesn't do. I live in a rural area 46 kids in my graduating class. We were all close and hung out together. One is currently in jail for murdering his mother for insurance money. His situation is his own and has nothing to do with me even if we were friends most of our lives.
