Why? Max has no control over what Bauer does or doesn't do. I live in a rural area 46 kids in my graduating class. We were all close and hung out together. One is currently in jail for murdering his mother for insurance money. His situation is his own and has nothing to do with me even if we were friends most of our lives.

It's hard to imagine he's ready to produce after not seeing live pitching for a week. This is probably the right call.

Wouldn't he be quarantined away from the taxi squad all those days? Would 1-2 days worth of simulated PAs after quarantine be enough to get ready?

No idea, but I lean towards no. Maybe they had some other guys in there working out with him.
