Incredible year for Verlander at age 39.
He’s at 243 career wins. I hope he tries to pitch 4-5 more years so he can reach 300 wins. He’s realistically the last guy who has a chance to do it.
Anyone see Kurt Suzuki getting love in his last MLB game?

I'm not sure how to "embed" twitter links I think.

Got you, but for future all you have to do is go to twitter link and find the numbers at end of url and place those numbers between

Don't believe there has been much talk about Verlander this year. Coming back from TJ and likely going to win his 4th Cy Young this year at age 38.
Ex-Brave Tommy Boggs passed away yesterday (cancer).
Congrats to Matt "Aids" Olson on getting NL Player of the Week honors.
Get off my lawn!
Why burn Suzuki after 1 pitch in his last game? Seems classless.
You let him get one last AB and then sub him the next inning, right?
Two Braves on the list.

You give him the chance to walk off to an ovation. This is the oddest way I've seen it done, but you never know if he's going to get a hit in his last AB (Vogt's exit was so perfect) and you really want to give the guy the recognition from the fans he deserves. Suzuki has really been a warrior. Another guy who came to the Braves with somewhat middling numbers and really blew up during his two seasons with the Braves. Rare that guys have their best offensive seasons this late in their career but Suzuki's only > .800 OPS seasons came at age 33 (with the Braves) and age 35 (with the Nationals).
