"Just didn't have it today" is a phrase you don't want any players to buy into. Things can go good or bad in an instant. Snit let them stew in it and maybe hurt the team's chances to win this one game, but he also used the adversity of the moment to give them something positive to build on. Players, and especially young players, need as much on the job training as they can get.
Plenty of time to give guys work when we're leading the division. But since we're chasing the Mets by a good margin of games you win as many as you can.

We are a world series team. We shouldn't be managing like we're feeling guys out and giving them a chance to develop.

Thats why we cut Newcomb. No more patience for that.

Ronald's leg must be hurting from trying to carry the offense on one leg. Hope D'Arnaud isn't next.

They did say after another day of rest (we're off tomorrow) he might be ready on Friday.

I hate to say it, but it might be time to reel Acuņa in a little bit. It sucks some of the excitement away, but it might be better for the team in the long run.

I never really trust the braves on injuries. I really hope he is back Friday though

No doubt. We have to stop or at least severely reduce the base stealing and more DHing even if it hurts our defense.
