None of us knew what Wright and Strider were gonna do going back not the season. If they hadn’t of performed like they had we’d still be 10 games out of 1st place. We needed another starter going into the season. I’d look to deal Anderson at the deadline if I could get a good bat back.

Despite what folks said when Anderson was getting good results, he was always a #3/#4 if his command held up. Now he’s getting a little unlucky in the BABIP and LOB departments, and his his command has faltered a bit, so he’s performing like a #5. Fine, pitchers are volatile and sometimes they regress. He is still valuable.
As others have pointed out, it was a given Morton would struggle coming back from injury, or Anderson would regress, or someone would get injured, or Wright would continue to be frustrating, or whatever else happens with pitchers. That’s why AA should have gotten another SP this off-season, as has been said and now confirmed a dozen times the last 3 months.

Three months ago Strider was merely a decent prospect, Wright had been awful in MLB up to that point, and Anderson just came off another amazing playoff run. These are the ebbs and flows of pitching, as frustrating as they are.

26% swinging strike rate on 93 pitches.
That’s so incredibly elite.
Strider is a stud and at this point he’d have to fail miserably to take him out of the rotation.
Moving to a six man makes much much sense when soroka is back.

Harris however was listed as being a top 100 prospect on multiple lists.
So if he finished in the top 3 in ROY voting he will be granted a full year of service time this season. If he finished 2nd or 3rd the Braves would get an extra international draft pick if that's implemented (unlikely) and if he wins ROY then the Braves will get an extra pick in the amateur draft next year.
Assuming he keeps playing well he's a lock for a top 3 finish.

New Prospect Promotion Incentive (PPI) draft selections will be made available to clubs that place top prospects on Opening Day rosters. If an eligible prospect is promoted to the major league roster, receives a full year of service time and receives “sufficient” awards consideration in any season before he qualifies for arbitration, the team will receive a PPI selection in one or both of the draft and the international draft, if implemented.
Me: I think you might be right but I always see this rule mentioned in pairing with OD rosters, so I’m not entirely sure what the stipulations are.

Players thought this too but eventually gave in. You have to be top 100 on 2 of 3. mlb.com, espn's, or baseball america's top 100 list.
And I agree with your point in general. But again, this whole point was to stop teams from manipulating the service time of top prospects. If a prospect pulls a Juan Soto and flies through the minors from A ball to the majors at 19 and gets called up in June or whenever is that really manipulating service time?
