Well, I'm a fan of the lineup... except I could see Heredia instead of Harris

Hoping that come playoff time, Ozuna is off the roster and Contreras is in the lineup every day.

They have to balance developing Harris with optimizing the lineup. I hope to see Heredia take the PAs vs LHP in October, and he should probably get ramped back up sometime in September. But for now, I think it’s ok to keep running Harris out there be LHP with the hope he improves against them.

It may be they just feel they can live with struggles against lhp when he plays top flight defense. He impacted the game in a huge way last night on defense

Bingo. Heredia is fine in the outfield but he doesn’t make those game-changing plays.

I still like the idea of resting him some vs lhp. Gonna be a long season for him

Two off days coming up next week. Maybe there’s an opportunity to do it in Boston. His defense in a series this big is too valuable. I wouldn’t have been opposed to letting Heredia start and then sub out once the lefty was out of there.

One thing we know Snitosaur won’t do is strategically rest players during this 23 game stretch. He is going to run them into the ground, and we will be saying “why do they look flat?” sometime around the 19th vs Houston.

Yeah I hear ya... was just the only thing I could see that I would possibly do different. I'm okay with him continuing reps against lefties for now.

Peterson is a predominately fastball/slider guy…gonna be tough for Harris and Olson

How great is it that in a situation like this we have an actual major league starter like Odorizzi?

Nah, the Braves didn’t need to waste resources on another SP.

I supported getting a SP at the deadline. Still wasn't needed at the start of the season when you did a priority ranking of all the teams true needs.

But among AA's redeeming qualities his most impressive is his adaptability. He properly identified that with Strider reaching a potential throwing limit and Anderson showing worrisome signs another dependable starting pitcher was essential.

Like, 80% of the Braves’ losses in the first half of the season were due to not having a 5th starting pitcher.

Shhhh, those facts don’t match the narrative in the tehteh narrative, so they are inconsequential.

It’s probably best we just let him think he was right then and now. Sort of like how people deal with that ignorant uncle during thanksgiving who claims the government is too stupid to manage any program, and then in the next breath describes that same government orchestrated a complex conspiracy between warring nations to fake the moon landing.

The offense was DOA and we weren't playing with Acuna.

How does a home plate umpire miss something like that?
