Maybe strider can get us to the 6th with a lead.
Fried's line at worst last night should have been 6 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 1 BB. The game should have been, at worst, 1-1 after six. The third was his only troublesome inning, and he should have been out of it with one run. Defense let him down massively. Three errors from the left side of the infield, and Olson saved a third from Swanson. And a poor throw helped the fourth run.
Two plays alone, Swanson E6 in the first and overturned call in the sixth, led to 12 more pitches from Fried. So he would have been at 81 through six. Whether it would have been wise or not, history suggests Snit would have tried to stretch him into the seventh in a 1-1 game. I'm just not sure what else to expect here.

MSstate:
Would you give it a rest on Olson already? He is here to stay. Freeman isnt coming back as he is with the Dodgers for the next 6 years. Like it or not, Olson is here, and it isnt like he sucks. If you want to follow Freeman then become a Dodger fan. You cant put all the blame on Olson, one guy on a entire team that didnt hit, field or pitch! Not his fault solely. Let it go already. Everyone knows how you feel
Let's hope this year was an aberration for Olson and has some .900 OPS years for the Braves.
msstate does this with everyone ... he rains negativity juju on them and they turn it around and stuff it down his throat. He happily accepts said comeuppance.
