You have to understand the string of events from the beginning.

Obama admin did some shady things (Fast & Furious / Iran Deals / Buddying with China / 2014 Ukraine Coup) and HRC/Bidens were running her parallel global influence slush fund as well. Trump was a DIRECT threat to that being uncovered so they had to spy on his campaign to get some dirt. Realized there wasn't dirt so had to create Russian collusion.
