    Football season was officially over, sometime during the 2nd quarter. At least this isn't like the early days of Scout, when rednecks would derail a thread to blab about Nascar. Their holy grail, the Daytona 500, is on tap.

    Hard to get excited about baseball when ownership of your team sucks so much that they have to go to arbitration with your star player for less than a million dollars.

    Yeah, the Jason situation is sad. I remember when things weren't this way, pretty sad. I think the new stadium is forcing liberty to tighten the purse strings even more, considering Freddie and Jason are the 2 guys they want to stick in Atlanta long term, going to arbitration and belittling them may not be a good idea. Kimbrel I get, not Freddie and especially not Jason considering we're liek 300K apart.
