Wow. It’s awesome waking up to a tie for first. Once the Braves shook off the WS hangover they’ve been pretty darn good. Glad they didn’t give up on the season when ESPN gave the WS trophy to the Mets in May.
The playoffs are all about momentum. One reason I thinks the 90’s / 00 teams struggled in the playoffs was they coasted in so many times they weren’t sharp when it matter. The Braves have a chance to ride a wave of momentum to the playoffs this year. Snit lacks when it comes to game management sometimes but he seems to excel at keeping the players locked in and playing hard.
