Mets clinched a playoff spot tonight. We have to be a game or so away ourselves.

Magic number 2 now. Hopefully we don't clinch tomorrow bc that means brewers lost

Looks like we luck out and miss Zack Wheeler. He’s going Wednesday night against the Jays.

What a fantastic pennant race. Haven't seen one like this in a long time. It's like an amazing 400m race. Both teams long striding coming off the last curve, fighting off booty lock and striving for the tape. Us with four in a row, them with five. Who's gonna break?

Looks like they'll miss fried though. If we win today, do we think about elder tomorrow?

We need to be up at least a game by the Mets series imo. I’d love nothing more than to clinch the division at home against the Mets. If we are up 2 games going into the Mets series we can end it there.

jumping infront of them and their fans has a certain good feeling to it... on the other hand, them jumping on our field will be rough.

We can also use this week to create permanent separation from St.Louis as a potential 2 seed. They are finally getting their San Diego-Los Angeles road trip.

I’d use Elder to set the rotation up as Fried, Strider, Wright for the Mets series. They’ll try to do the same with Scherzer and deGrom I’m sure.

I would be surprised if either team didn't set it up that way. There is still the 3 game series right after, so each team would still have the big guns ready for game 1 of wild card matchup for whoever loses the division.

I think whoever wins the East will be the 2 seed in the NL.. it would be nice if the Astros coasted to the finish and lost the 2 seed in MLB.. that way if we do advance to face them in the Series, we could have home field. But I think it would be hard to catch them at this point.

Pretty sure that was more of a race to the bottom, kinda like your mom, but thanks.

I am pretty sure that was referencing the Giants/Dodgers. Which came down to the very last game. But you do you man.
