Tomorrow is a must win for us. We can’t go in the Mets series down 1, we need to be tied at worst. That stadium is gonna be insane this weekend.

Worried about the weather. Storm hitting me tomorrow

Don't think they can. He won't be eligible. But I could see them throwing Fried again if it came down to that last day.

Strider can't come back for the rest of the regular season.

I'm not surprised the Braves and Mets are tied with 8 games to go. I am surprised they both have 97 wins with 8 games to go.

Think we have just 7 left now. This is exciting baseball but I wish we had won the division already

Anybody think Strider is actually hurt or they want him fully rested for the playoffs with as many innings as he’s pitched?

Didn't realize a pitcher must go on 15-day vs 10

Yeah....you have the 86 win Guardians clinching the joke of an AL Central.

What's wild is there could be 5 teams with 100 wins this season. Top heavy league for sure.

I think it's a legit injury. I don't think it's serious. It's such an advantage to win the division that I would want him against the Mets over Morton.

Me too. He’s went way past what he’s pitched in the past so I figured he’d just get extra rest for the playoffs. If it was his oblique I don’t think it’s serious either. They just used the IL so they could get another starter up here.

Worried about the weather this weekend. Certainly going to be a crazy atmosphere. Would be great if the Marlins could somehow steal Wednesday's game as well but not getting my hopes up on that happening.

He's only thrown 131 innings this year, he's more than fine from that standpoint. Unfortunately i do think he's hurt, i reallllly wish he was pitching this weekend given the Mets have their top 3 pitchers going this weekend.

It’s less that Strider is hurt and more that the Braves wanted to get ahead of an oblique injury. He should come off the IL on time. That being said he won’t have a rehab assignment so it will be interesting to see if he starts by coming out of the pen in the playoffs.

Interesting dilemma. Fried would technically be lined up to pitch on the final day of the season. But if you use him then he wouldn't be available to pitch in the wild card round.

Both. I think he's hurt but would be able to go if it were the playoffs. He's essentially our biggest weapon so I'll take a fresh Strider all day

Yeah, I saw this last night. Heyman is literally a part of the New York media now so it's not shocking.

If it was Florida, yes, but Atlanta's not gonna get hit like that. And no way in hell will the Braves give up homefield in a series that will literally determine the entire season. Not shocking Heyman wants it moved given he's a NY mouthpiece.
